Sealife X Animal Crossing 24/02/25

A small group of us went to the Trafford Centre to visit the Sealife Centre because they’re currently doing a crossover with Animal Crossing. We weren’t able to do a bigger group trip this time due to having our kid with us.

It was an early start as we wanted to get there mid morning to do a bit of shopping first. We also had lunch before the visit.

The visit itself was suitably busy, but we were booked on the 1.30pm visit.

At the reception desk you can pick up a “meet the residents” stamp card.

The visit itself starts with a photo opportunity (which you can buy towards the end of the tour.)

The rest of the tour, we learnt about all the different sea creatures, with Blathers occasionally popping up with tips.

And every now again you’d find a stamping station to collect those residents. Shame Alfonso and Lily’s stamps were only partially working, but we got decent stamps of all the others.

I had 3 cards to stamp: One for me, one for Dylan and one for Dewi!

Due to us crossing over into 2pm, and the “Meet and Greet” being roughly every half hour, we were able to catch “Isabelle” and have a photo with her.

Dewi found a soft play area, so spent a bit of time in there, and didn’t want a photo with Isabelle!

Every so often we’d come across characters from the Animal Crossing series too – Gulliver was a nice addition!

The shop at the end was a bit underwhelming for Animal Crossing merchandise, but it was a nice treat to get a little bag of Haribo for completing the stamps card.

Overall it was a great experience, getting to know the various sea life, with a nod to the creatures as featured in Animal Crossing. It’s especially great for the kids and their learning.

If you’re an animal crossing fan, why not book a ticket and experience it for yourself?
