This event happened on Halloween, just because it’s the only Saturday we had left, so we invited people to dress up accordingly, but said please no masks, as I find it quite triggering.
People drifted in from about 10.30, and at peak we had 25 in attendance.
The event started off with a bit of Suika Game to test the volume levels, but it wasn’t long until the current favourite: Splatoon Raiders was set up between 3 regulars.
Dylan was on the big screen, with Glyn on his own TV, John playing in portable!

Other games were seen over the day too..

Our schedule was pretty back to back for this event, as we had to do a Tournament to show off newly released Switch (2) Sports Resort. But first, of course we did round 1 of the league – Halloween inspired Just Dance!
We had Disco Inferno, Witch, Bring me to Life and Pyscho!
The final one had John and Dale in it, and they didn’t want to get up and dance, so they did surprisingly well just waving their arm about from their seats! (And Dale trying to grab a drink while “Dancing” was particularly funny! 😛

Next up, the main tournament. The rounds consisted of:
Archery, Bowling, Skateboarding, Thumb Wars, and the final was Tennis!
We saw the mouse in action, and the special versions of archery and bowling.

Drn took the eShop credit at the end of that tournament!
Straight up was Round 2 of the league. We did Luigi’s Rescue Operation from Mario Party Jamboree.
We originally wanted to feature Luigi’s Mansion 2, but the night before, we realised that we might not have 4 people with their own copy of the game!
In Rescue Operation, people had to solve a sequence of puzzles to get to the end room first!

This time, no one got the full 10 points, so we had a 4- way tie for 8 points, as someone had to win this month’s plush!

We did the raffle and photos from about 4.30pm, so we finished early, and the last 20 minutes or so was spent on the Prop Plane on Sports Resort.

I made sure to get a group photo of everyone who’d gone to the effort of dressing up, and then we had our big group photo 🙂 (Thanks to the lady who took it for us, sorry I didn’t catch your name!)

Lovely to see some new faces too <3, hope to see you again soon!
