This was a strange weekend, as usually we would avoid it due to it being the university summer ball, and lots of other events too, but since Jen had been busy for the first half of May with other commitments, there wasn’t much of May left!
Despite that we had a good number of 14 attending, and we managed to feature a number of multiplayer and solo games.
Some spotted were: Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Burger Time, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (of course) and Gangbeasts!

The dancers weren’t around this time, but of course May is also exam season too!
We also showcased a bit of Lumote from Indie Developers Wired Productions.

There was only one main tournament featured this time, as we had to keep the schedule fairly simple.
The Switch Sports tournament showcased all the sports (except football, as that was in reserve in case we needed a tie breaker). The final was bowling, where the top 4 battled it out on the intermediate special set! John came out on top, so congratulations to him!

Of course we had a little raffle too. All proceeds go into funding future prizes and refreshments for the group 🙂

We forgot to do a group photo, but people were coming and going more for this event so we wouldn’t have caught everyone anyway.

Overall the day had a bit of structure, but had to allow a bit of flexibility. The feedback from members said it was a fun day out and they really enjoyed it. That’s exactly what we’re there for!
Don’t forget there is no event in June, but we’ll be back on July 9th with a bang, a vroom and maybe a strike!
