Finally back in our home venue in central Bangor, we were so excited!
Old familiar faces reappeared, and some new guys too, though the event wasn’t completely back to full capacity in structure, as we are unable to pick up the league so late into the year.
We did have a main competition though, which was a double race with “Karby”
We started the event by setting up Mario Kart Live Home Circuit which originally launched in October 2020. It was the first time since launch that we had the proper floor space to be able to set it up without the worry of it being trodden on!
Some had more fun than others 😉

Dotted around the room were other people playing their own solo or multiplayer games.

After everyone got bored of Mario Kart Live Circuit, we saw some Good Job and Gang Beasts.
Gang Beasts caused a lot of laughs!

Dylan had to pop out, so John helped the Karby competition, while Jen hosted.
Drn easily won over everyone else, with the first of the two races being the only entrant scoring sub 20 seconds! The winner was the shortest time of the two races combined.

After the competition had finished, various people had some fun with the co-op games.

Meanwhile on the other side of the room, we saw some Mario Kart, Dark souls and Smash.

The raffle was a mixture of Mario Kart and Kirby. It was also great to see one of our previous raffle prizes being used!

We even managed to fit in a sneaky little Just Dance session towards the end…

We did the raffle, and a lot of people had their eye on the banana (including “Mr Destructive” who’d gatecrashed the end of the event!) Dan walked away with it though, and Paul and Nick were on a mission to build their lego characters as quickly as possible!

The group photo had been missed with the last one being outside in August 2021, but people were less than organised this time, as we were trying to rush the ones making the Lego models, and the guy taking the photo missed off the end people. On the second attempt, one guy had disappeared and a few others were too tired to try again, so we have two versions of the group photo instead!
