This was an odd day, what with the strikes on English trains, and various other events happening, so the meet was small.
Those who know me, know I’ll never cancel an event, and the reason we didn’t move the date was because the dates are determined by things outside of our control.
We started with 5, but poor Euclidian Boxes was feeling ill, so he had to leave early. The 4 of us carried on to our usual spot of Happy Valley in Llandudno to get stuck into a couple of Grand Prixes on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The other two members hadn’t had chance to try the new wave of DLC yet so it was a nice introduction for them!
After our games, we went back down the hill to the Looking Glass Ice Cream parlour. It was perfect that was 4 of us, because we were able to chill inside (where it was a bit cooler) without any issue!
The meet was only brief being 2-4pm but we had a good catch up, and then the last 2 of us did a bit of shopping, then went to Pizza Hut in Llandudno Junction for tea. We ended the events of the day by popping to the cinema to play in the arcades. Nothing like a bit of spontaneity to hark back at old times 😀
