This event was an extra one to our normal schedule, as our main events being at the end of the month, didn’t fit in with the release of the new Mario Galaxy Movie!
We started at noon, by meeting in Escape Gaming Bar, Llandudno.
There were about 10 of us there, and the main focus was the retro console available, featuring Mario Kart 64!

John and I were able to experience the Link Play Mode on Pokopia, and ended up cataloguing which Pokémon I had and he didn’t, and vice versa!

Dylan played a mixture of Animal Crossing New Horizons and then the new Wonder update, later joining forces with John for some 2 player!

At 3pm, it was time to go to the cinema, so people hopped in the cars available and off we went to Cineworld in Llandudno Junction!

Sadly I wasn’t able to get our group photo in the cinema, because everyone arrived at different times, then between the cinema and pizza hut, we had no minutes left to get from one place to the next, so I dashed ahead to make sure the table was sorted and everyone else caught me up.
We had the entire “back row” for pizza, as we ended up with 14 sat down!
Some people had to leave early, so we missed them for the group photo at the end, but we decided to do it at the table, because we had to leave and some people were still finishing off their drinks.

The film itself had mixed opinions. A few thought it was quite disjointed and would have been better as short clips for Youtube. Personally? I loved the little details, and the music references took me back to our wedding!
but overall people had a fun day, and that’s all that matters!
Thanks to Em for capturing pictures of some of the day too!
(P.S It wasn’t 4 years, it was 3 years 😉 )
